Vow & Velvet began with a wedding that nearly did not happen. Isabelle Ashworth was producing a hotel gala when a friend asked her to help with a sister’s wedding, three weeks out. The florist had cancelled, the venue’s timeline was a page of guesses, and everyone was trying to be gracious about it.

She rebuilt the day in twenty-one days, and the bride never learned how close it had come. What stayed with Isabelle was not the relief but the realization that the calm the bride felt was itself something that could be designed.

Calm is not luck. It is the work no one sees.

That belief became the studio: a small team that plans the invisible parts first, the timelines, the contingencies, the route the caterer takes to the kitchen, so the visible parts can be beautiful and unhurried.

We are based in Orlando, work across Winter Park and Central Florida, and travel for destination weddings. We take on a limited number of couples each season, because we would rather know every one of them well.
